Bring the kids! Reach out to friends and family!
Grand Riverkeeper Labrador and Labrador Land Protectors invite everyone to our annual snowmobile RIDE for the RIVER event celebrating International Day of Action for Rivers on SATURDAY, MARCH 10th, 2018.
We’ll meet at the end of Mud Lake Road in Happy Valley-Goose Bay (at the beginning of the ice road to Mud Lake) at 10 AM and travel to Mud Lake for
food, ice fishing, and fun!
What to Bring
As many friends and supporters as you can muster
Labrador Flags (to attach to your snow machine or komatik)
Ice fishing gear
We welcome a few extra pieces of wood and splits for the fire.
What Will Be Provided
- Home made soup and chili
- Coffee, tea and hot chocolate
People are welcome to bring other food for sharing.
If you have room to take extra people in a komatik, please let us know.
If you want to attend and don’t have a snow machine, let us know so we can pair you with someone who has extra room.
Join us for a day of fun as we enjoy the beauty of the Grand River, celebrate the life of Berta Caceres and honour all who, like us, fight to save rivers worldwide!
